Job Summary

The Project Manager role involves leading a team of design engineers responsible for current product design support on agricultural heavy equipment. Typical duties include interfacing with product leads, coordinating changes with technical leads, managing project priorities, sharing synergies across product lines, providing leadership and guidance to the design team, and reporting progress to management. This role involves heavy interaction with a wide variety of team members. Good communication and team skills are vital to the success of the assigned individual.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • 5+ years of product design experience

  • Experience with leadership/management of technical professionals desired

  • Experience with any of the following CAD packages: AutoDesk Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, UG/NX, AutoCad

  • Technical aptitude to lead projects with multi-disciplinary engineering resources

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and leadership skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or other scheduling software
