Universal Forest Products Inside Sales Coordinator in Blue Island, Illinois

The Sales Admin Support is responsible for serving as the point of contact for existing customers with queries about products, orders, and deliveries. This position provides support to the sales team, maintains communication with customer, sales and production, and assists troubleshooting problems.

Works under general supervision; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required; relays on pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

  • Maintains frequent communication with customer base and gathers information to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base.
  • Assists resolving customer issues/problems in a timely manner.
  • Serves as the main contact for customers responding to questions about orders, deliveries, and other inquiries related to their business.
  • Provides support to customers under the direction of Account Managers
  • Solicits sales orders from existing customers via phone
  • Works with account managers to comply with customer requests and to solve customer problems.
  • Prepares various reports and correspondence as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Answer phones when needed.
