Aerotek Medical Billing in Bloomingdale, Illinois


  • Accurately and completely post all Medicaid and insurance payments to patient accounts using various computer software programs.

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.

  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Code documents according to company procedures.

  • Perform financial calculations, such as amounts due, interest charges, and balances due.

  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.

  • Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.

  • Interact with insurance company representatives on behalf of our patients to resolve any payment or processing issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of cash applications/payment posting experience from within healthcare/medical industry

  • Must have Medicaid knowledge/experience

  • Must understand how to read/decipher EOB

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Will consider relevant work experience.

  • Excellent computer skills
