Midland provides ongoing training and development opportunities to help you build a career.We offerPart-Time Teller positions start at $13.10/hr, and must be available 25-28 hours per week with weekend availability.* 401k + Match* Paid time off - 2 sick days , 1 personal day and 4 hours of pay on holidays* Paid maternity /paternity leaveWHAT WILL YOU BE DOING* * Providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for our customers.* Engaging customers in conversation with an understanding of the products and services offered by the bank in order to cross-sell, refer, or answer inquiries regarding those products and services.* Receiving cash and checks for deposit; verifying amounts, and looking for check endorsements.* Examining cash carefully to guard against counterfeit bills and protect against fraud.* Cashing checks for customers in accordance with bank policy; entering transactions into computer system and issuing receipts.* Managing a cash drawer and balancing at end of shift.* Preparing and balancing ATM as requested.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.* Ability to accurately count money and handle large amounts of cash.* Sales and customer service experience.* Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.ABILITY TO* Stand for extended periods of time* Ability to lift and transport coin and currency bags as required (bags may weigh between 25lbs and 50lbs)OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS* Multilingual speakers are encouraged to applyMidland States Bancorp, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
