The Cary Company E-commerce Developer (Magento) in Addison, Illinois

The Cary Company is seeking an ambitious, energetic individual to work at our Addison, IL office as a Magento developer. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our ecommerce website. (Must be located in the USA)

Duties:

  • Work with our Marketing team to advance our eCommerce platform to support and grow all aspects of the business.

  • Work on all stages of the development lifecycle.

  • Solve technical, and user experience challenges that create business impact

  • Develop new features to enhance the quality of the customer experience on our ecommerce platform

  • Oversee deployment of website activities and updates

  • Collect platform feedback (internal and external) to recommend and improve product performance.

  • Act as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test web improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Magento Development with In-depth knowledge of Magento framework, System Architecture, Themes, Modules, Functionality and Configuration.

  • Knowledge on HTML/CSS, and browser debugging techniques.

  • Ability to review current practices and bring a fresh perspective on ways to approach existing problems

  • Experience coding to Magento technical best practices and guidelines

  • Ability to prioritize and follow up.

  • Magento Certification is a plus.
